more planning

I have met again with the group. We showed our pitch to our tutor and he liked our ideas, especially the soundscape. Now we are trying to recreate some of the shots and sounds we might want for our pitch next week. I am going to the dome on sunday to do some filming, while the others are meeting tomorrow to do some sound and written work. I am also in the process of writing a short pitch and schedule, and have been contacting several people for interviewees.

I was quite pleased with these, as they are evocative and interesting, and they make the history come alive despite being over a still image. This is what we wanted to do. We made these by using audition, and layering sounds from the BBC sound archive. This works to make a sound map of the time we wish to capture.
