More research

So, some research:

here is a tutorial online for how to do a timelapse:

we want a nice timelapse of crowds, of the sun rising over the dome, etc- we thought this would give the video a nice professional and lively air. We will probably do the time lapse where you just take video for a long time, as we don't need to zoom in, as the video says you might need.I really like the timelpase and think it would make a good start or end.

We tried to do our own one of the Pavilion  which went well, though we would have to wait for a longer time to make it the best, as it doesnt last long enough, and the people walking past are slightly annoying, as they flicker. Maybe we should use a really intervelometer and not just film and speed up.  I like how the shot looks though- it really captures your eye and makes the video feel lively.

I look at a few more historic videos too. I noticed these also used very interesting camera technices  they smoothly panned, tracked, zoomed and did rack focus. I was particully looking at BBC here, nature and historic. I want to use all of these techniques in production. For example, below:

I was also looking at uncopyrighted music, and royal free music. I think its probably best if we get royalty free music- there is a lot of music that we could get which is quite appropriate, as we wanted something classy and classical. I have found www.jamendo.com, and also BBC sounds, and well as http://www.cssmusic.com/?gclid=CJev0baJoLUCFe7MtAodkWIANw
