We are making a soundscape from the sounds of BBC, which we play at the pitch, with some of the photos from our sound scape over them. This will give our employers an example of what a soundscape might mean, and our style (which is nostalgic and evocative)
Within our prezi, we split our presentation into 5 parts, and split up reading like this:
Robyn: Welcome/Introduction (Approach)
Ella: Timeline
Cal: Content
Examples of Content:
Ella - Intro and Royal Stables
Robyn - Military Barracks and Concert Hall
Cal - The Organ
Louise - Musical Heritage

Louise: Planning and Organisation
Cal: Questions
This gives everyone the same amount of speaking, and covers all areas.

I have also been in contact with the dome, here is my email and their reply:
Dear Madam,
I am part of a student group from the University of Sussex, who have been employed by the Dome Heritage Site to make a educational video for them. I was writing to you to ask for your help.
In our video, we would like to have an interview with a local historian, or someone who could talk fluently about the history of the Dome. I was wondering whether you knew, and could get us in contact with such a person.
We also thought it would be a nice personal touch to interview someone who took part in the tea dances, or whose parents met/took part in the tea dances that happened around the war. We would just want a short account from them about their expereiences. Would there be anyone we could contact and discuss this with?
I hope you are the right person to contact about these issues, (or if not, you could forward to us a better person to talk to) Thank you very much for your time!
Yours sincerely,
Robyn Furtado
Hi Robyn I am forwarding your email to Zoe who would be able to advise you. Queens park Books (have a look at their website ) might be useful to you as they would have just these sort of contacts. It is also worth doing some research in the local history archives - maybe go and ask in the central library.
Best wishes Pippa
I have been in contact with her suggestion and am waiting ot hear a reply. We are also posting a advertisment on gumtree. This is the advertisment:
"We are producing a film about the history of the dome, and wish to get accounts from anyone who might have met at the dome during tea dances (or if you know someone who might have met at the dome) or have attended an event at the dome, and would be willing to give an account of their experience. please get in touch at...."
These are some of the paintings that Ella did for our story board: we will use them with the soundscape over.
